Looking for an opportunity to flex your mechanical skills? Our partner, an equipment manufacturer in the mobile food service industry, is seeking candidates to work in the Machine Build Assembly department of their Mentor facility! This is a great opportunity to work in a union shop, where you can join the union immediately after the temp time frame of 90 working days.

Available Shifts:
1st Shift (5:50a-2:30p
2nd Shift (2:30p-11p)
$19/hr. to start
There is a raise once hired into the union.

Summary of Duties: 
Light assemblies or sub-assemblies of small to medium sized sheet metal parts.   

Basic Requirements: 
• Mechanically inclined. 
• Basic Blueprint Reading 
• Ability to read bills of material and routings 
• Ability to work with Pneumatic Air Tools 
• Basic shop math: Fraction-Decimal-Tolerances 
• Basic electrical wiring  
• High School Diploma or GED  

Physical Demands: 
• Lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling 35 - 50 lbs. on a regular basis. 
• Frequently required to stand, walk, squat and bend 

Machinery Used: 
• Required to use power tools 
• Arm Controls 
• Fixed Machinery 
• Utility knife 

Must wear proper PPE of steel-toed shoes and eye protection.
